Where: Sarasota Bayfront Marina, Sarasota, FL. 34236 (near the Unconditional Surrender statue)
Who: The Tax Day Tea Party is a national collaborative grassroots effort organized by Smart Girl Politics, Top Conservatives on Twitter, the DontGo Movement, FreedomWorks.org, and many other online groups/coalitions.

In two months we’ve witnessed trillion-dollar strides toward Nanny State socialism. The money the government takes it returns not with strings, but with chains.

Whoever wins this fight in the end, I want to be able to say that I did my part, that I fought for the America our Founders gave us: a nation of citizens, not subjects.

  1. We need to gather as much support for this project as possible. The seriousness of this massive bailout/stimulus/spending can’t be emphasized enough. The very survival of the nation is at stake.
