Previously, I’ve worked as a circus unicyclist and clown, an airborne infantryman, a Military Intelligence linguist, a missionary and a history lecturer.  My areas of interest are immigration policy, foreign affairs, American history and politics, Reformation theology, parenting theory, literature, science fiction, Eastern Europe and Africa.  Basically, anything interesting that can’t get you a job.
