I found this book to be quite enjoyable. The story reminds me of Robert A Heinlein’s book, “Revolt in 2100.”
I did start to read it quite tentatively based upon the negative reviews indicating that it was a religious polemic. In fact, it is not. Apparently some reviewers did not understand the central premise that [...]
I stayed up past my bedtime finishing this book. It was great reading a science fiction book with strong Christian characters. It’s a great read. Good story, strong characters, and a believable society. I’m looking for more from this author.
Glad you enjoyed the book, Richard Bush (no relation!)
I absolutely loved this book, I stayed up until I couldn’t keep my eye’s open anymore reading the night that I bought it. Despite the extremely heavy religious views in the book, I enjoyed the read. It kept my attention the entire way through, a very satisfying book to read and finish.
Thanks for the review, [...]

This book was a great read. The characters were deep and diverse enough to draw you in, the action was exciting enough to keep you there, and the struggle between a man and his God will force you to take a look at yourself.
Glad you enjoyed the book, R. Doctor!
This book is an outstanding piece of work. J. Wesley Bush has an extraordinary ability to show the changes in his characters. I strongly recommend it for anyone who likes sci-fi, Christian, or fiction in general.
Thanks for the review, Faramir!

Generally this book looks at the conflict involved in defending a religion of peace by violence. St Augustine wrote on Just War. Specifically it charts a soldier’s journey towards Grace. Finally the author wrote the tactical scenes like he’d been there and done that. Does God exist? No one knows, but there are no atheists [...]
